Where wood is given a soul
Finishing is not the last step of the process. It is the moment the wood is given a soul. It shapes not only how a piece looks, but how the material lives and breathes in the room it inhabits.
We choose finishes that preserve the authenticity of the timber and let it keep its natural rhythm. They protect the surface and slow its ageing, while bringing forward the tones and structure nature wove into every fibre.
Lacquers
Colour, safely made
We use exclusively safe, environmentally responsible lacquers certified to the EN 71-3 standard — because beauty must never come at the expense of the people who touch and live with our furniture every day.
-
01
EN 71-3 certified
Toy-safety migration limits — the strictest surface standard we can hold ourselves to, applied to every finished piece.
-
02
RAL u0026 NCS palette
A full spectrum of colour from the RAL and NCS systems, so every design finds its own precise final tone.

03
Ombré lacquering
A speciality of the house: a gradual transition of colour across a single surface that gives each piece a layered, almost painterly character.
The origin that defines us
Smarvet sources every raw material exclusively from the domestic market — directly from the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Working with local suppliers we build more than quality: we build a community, support the local economy and keep a responsible relationship with nature through shorter transport routes and a smaller ecological footprint.
